Repair a Damaged Smile with Restorative Dentistry

Dental Implants

If you are missing one or more teeth, dental implants are the best treatment to restore the appearance and function of your smile and improve your oral health. Dental implants are small metal posts surgically placed in the jaw. Over time, implants fuse with surrounding bone to serve the role of missing tooth roots. Once healed in place, implants help to provide a lifetime of support for permanent restorations, such as crowns, bridges, and dentures. Additionally, implants return stimulation to the jaw, which helps to halt the bone loss that occurs after a tooth falls out or is extracted.

Dental Crowns

A crown is a single-tooth restoration placed on top of a weakened, cracked, or damaged tooth to restore its appearance and reinforce its structure. Dr. Peter T. Smrecek Jr. proudly offers beautiful dental crowns made of advanced and highly lifelike materials. We partner with a local lab to provide custom crowns made of porcelain, zirconia, or IPS e.max® ceramic. Your crown will be carefully crafted to match the natural color of your teeth, ensuring it blends with your smile as flawlessly as possible.

Dental Bridges

A bridge is a custom restoration that uses artificial teeth to fill in the gaps created by tooth loss. If you are missing a single tooth or two consecutive teeth, we can create a dental bridge made of all-porcelain, zirconia, or IPS e.max® ceramic to restore the form and function of your smile. A traditional bridge is supported by crowns on each adjacent side. Patients who want to secure their bridge with unparalleled strength can receive an implant-supported bridge, which attaches to small metal posts that have been surgically placed in the jaw.

Whether you are missing several teeth or an entire dental arch, dentures offer a safe and effective solution to restore your smile. Traditional removable dentures feature a gum-colored base and are secured by adjacent teeth or dental adhesives. We also offer implant-supported dentures, which are secured by metal posts that have fused with the jawbone. Your partial or complete denture will be crafted to restore the appearance of your smile and the strength of your bite.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Patients with significant dental damage often require more than one restorative treatment to completely repair their smile. During full mouth reconstruction, we will combine a custom set of procedures into a single treatment plan to address multiple concerns. Dr. Smrecek works closely with patients when designing a smile makeover plan, taking into account their unique restorative and financial needs. Planning treatment for multiple issues allows us to minimize costs, recovery times, and the number of visits to our office.
